You have multiple work-in-progress states saved in your Git stash stack and need to retrieve code from an older snapshot.

Task

Navigate to /home/interview/repo. Identify the third stash in the list, preview its contents, and apply it to your current working directory without removing it from the stack.

Step 1: Identify the stash
List the stashes to confirm the index. (Note: Stashes are 0-indexed, so the 3rd stash is stash@{2}).

cd /home/interview/repo
git stash list

Step 2: Apply the stash
Use the apply command (not pop) to restore the changes while preserving the stash entry in the stack.

git stash apply stash@{2}
